Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is a Hollywood actress, author and bestseller novelist. Her talent has earned her international recognition. Sagittarius, she was born in North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She is the oldest out of three children that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith, a psychologist. She is of English as well as Scottish roots. Due to her father's job the Moore family was often moved and she was unable to form friendships, or to keep ones. Moore was in the class of Frankfurt American High School in Germany at the time her parents relocated there. Moore began her career in the theatre. Her studies continued through Boston University, graduating in 1983 with the degree of a B.F.A. A thesis on Theater. After graduating, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985 Moore made her screen debut in the episode The Edge of Night. In 1986 she was cast in two roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes in the As the World Spins. The role provided her with the opportunity to break through and led to her successful career. The show lasted from 1986 to 1988. World Turns until 1988. In recognition of her performance, she received a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her debut as an actress on Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Then, she called it an low-budget film. Short Cuts (1993), 3 Women (1997), and 3 Women (1997) were all directed by Robert Altman. The critically acclaimed performance of her in Short Cuts (1993) brought her a number of nominations. Moore's debut lead role was on screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. It was among the most popular movies released that year. In 1999 she starred in the critically acclaimed Magnolia and earned a SAG nomination for her performance. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman as well as Meryl Streep. Moore is a veteran of countless movies and television series. Moore's most recent appearance as a lead actress was in the film When You Finish saving the World (2022). This best-seller was turned into a movie, a series, and even a musical. The year 2013 saw her release Her Mom is A Foreigner. A well-respected actress and author Moore's personal life has been made public. She divorced John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich has given her two kids. He later became her husband in 2003. Moore's life revolves around her families, work and friends.
